& Lodging Association (AH&LA) has released its official set of
10 recommended steps hoteliers should take in today’s economy to
protect their bottom line and run their properties more
cost-efficiently.
From leveraging trends and innovations, having a viable press strategy, and more, the AH&LA Website expands these guidelines to provide actionable strategies for hoteliers to achieve immediate results. AH&LA’s online tactics will be further supplemented with two upcoming Webinars.
The first Webinar, Using AH&LA to Protect Your Bottom Line, on March 4, 2:00 – 2:30 pm (EST), is free for members and nonmembers alike, designed to show how AH&LA helps make these valuable tactics achievable. The 30-minute Webinar features AH&LA Chairman Joe Martin, CHA, owner/operator, Stillwater Hospitality, LLC, and AH&LA Executive Vice President and COO Pam Inman, who will answer participants’ questions about the industry and the resources the association offers to remain competitive. Registration is free and must be received by February 27.
The second Webinar, Ten Things You Should Do Right Now, on March 25, 1:00 – 2:30 pm (EST), taps a panel of industry experts who dig deeper and relay insider tips for outperforming competition in today’s market. Speakers include Marlene Colucci, executive vice president of public policy, AH&LA; Jan Freitag, vice president, STR Global; Pat Maher, partner, The Maher Group, and AH&LA’s green consultant; and Andria Ryan, attorney, Fisher & Phillips, LLP. Webinar cost is $99 for members; $199 for nonmembers, and registration must be received by March 20.
